Over the years, as an antidote to all the sappy sentimental Christmas tunes we are all inundated with every holiday season, I've collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous & irreverent Christmas songs by my favorite Jazz & Blues artists. My wonderful Jazzabelle Quintet, (an "A Team" of some of the Bay Area's finest jazz players) & I will be presenting our special "Christmas at The Oasis" show, for a fun evening of what we call "Christmas tunes for Hipsters." There will be no corny, overdone, pedestrian Christmas tunes here, only our special collection of rare gems! Don't miss this Holiday event!

~We're excited to tell all our Greater Bay Area peeps about 2 completely different & totally unique shows we'll be part of in the next 2 weeks!

~First, Friday October 14 in Santa Rosa, we'll be headlining the 1st night of Sonoma County's Americana Festival at a cool new venue, The California Theatre & sharing the bill with us will be legendary pedal steel player Bobby Black!~For this special show we'll be reaching way back to my original roots, & presenting a repertoire of some of my most iconic "Americana" tunes!.... Old Timey, Bluegrass, Vintage Blues & more!~

~ Then, Saturday, October 22 my Bluesiana Band & I will be teaming up with the legendary Zydeco Flames to bring you "A Night in New Orleans " right here in Marin County @ the Elks Lodge in San Rafael~ We'll get you up dancing with a whole set of our New Orleans flavored Blues, R&B, & Swamp Funk, & the Flames will be rocking out with their foot stompin' Zydeco Groove!~This gig is in a beautiful New Orleans-y outdoor setting, there will be drinks & yummy food available, & for an evening you will be transported down to Louisiana for a night of Big Fun on the Bayou!~ A chance to kick up your heels & "Laissez les bons temps rouler" or "Let the good times roll"~You won't want to miss this one!~

~I hope you all had a lovely summer~Our Midsummer East Coast Swing was great fun & fabulously received! ~Now, to cap off a wonderful summer, before gearing up for my BIG 8-OH! BIRTHDAY BASH @ Rancho Nicasio, September 10, my Bluesiana Band & I are looking forward to 2 cool Greater Bay Area gigs Aug. 27 & Aug.28!~

The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre in Sacramento, Aug 26, will be a more intimate show, & Sand City's West End Celebration, will be a fun community event with many different kinds of music for your enjoyment!

~My Big 8-OH!
