Maria Muldaur

Over the years, as an antidote to all the sappy sentimental Christmas tunes we are all inundated with every holiday season, Maria Muldaur has collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous and irreverent Christmas songs by her favorite Jazz and Blues artists. Join Maria with John Jorgenson and his band as they romp through a swingin’ set of upbeat Christmas music they like to call “Xmas Tunes for Hipsters” – guaranteed to get you in a Holiday Groove that lifts your spirits and chases those Christmas Blues away!

“I’m really excited to tell you about a very special Christmas show “Holiday Swing” I’m doing in collaboration with amazing world-renowned guitar master, John Jorgenson! (recently named “one of the most respected guitar players in the world” by the LA Times!) ~ Collaborating with a master musician of John’s caliber is always a very special musical experience for me! ~ You don’t want to miss this one!” ~ Maria

“Legendary singer, Maria Muldaur & virtuoso instrumentalist John Jorgenson, put a jazzy spin on holiday classics & share rarely heard gems from the 20s, 30s,& 40s!~ The first time Maria & John performed together the musical chemistry was obvious. Maria’s curated a fantastic selection of wonderfully hip holiday tunes that John has put his special spin on. Expect holiday cheer wrapped up in songs both naughty & nice with a large dose of Swing!~ (Cabaret Scenes Magazine)
